Ingredients for the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Ingredients for dish:
- 2 tbsp Olive Olive
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 tsp garlic
- 1 cup spring onions – chopped
- 1 package mushrooms – sliced
- 1 lb shrimp – peeled and deveined
- 2 cups Sugar snap peas – whole
- 1 tsp cornstarch – optional
Directions:
In a small bowl mix all ingredients for sauce together and keep aside. In a hot skillet, add oil, crushed red pepper, garlic and chopped onions. Stir for a minute until fragrant. Add mushrooms and sugar snap peas, and stir for 2 minutes. Add shrimp and sauce and cook for 3 minutes (until shrimp turns pink and is cooked thoroughly). If sauce is very thin, you can mix the cornstarch in a bowl of water and drop it into the skillet.
Garnish with bean sprouts and spring onions. Serve as it is for a Keto diet, or serve with hot white rice.
